This main floor was ready for a facelift. We removed walls to open the kitchen to the family room. Relocating the dining room from the back of the house to the front allowed us to take advantage of the delightful view. In place of the old dining room, the family now enjoys a quiet, cozy den.
To brighten the space, we refinished the dark oak floors with a light grey stain, and hung beautiful white Shaker doors on the kitchen cabinetry. The island is stained a deep grey to complement the floors.
As part of opening up the kitchen, we needed to move the powder room. This provided an opportunity to update it and add gorgeous mosaic tile on the vanity wall.
