Owner and Lead Designer, Nancy Vornbrock’s extensive 20 year industry experience started as Lead Designer at John’s Custom Cabinets Ltd. where she honed her millwork skills and learned the trade along with the importance of quality craftsmanship. While working for her family’s business, Nancy started at LMF International Interior Design as their Senior Design Assistant under her mentor of over 15 years, Lucille Fares. While at LMF, Nancy was an integral part of the team, designing interiors of custom homes locally and as far away as Europe, Palm Desert, and the Rock Water Secret Cove Resorts, which have become world-famous in travel magazines for their Tenthouses that Miss Fares designed.

Since opening the doors of NNV Designs, Nancy has provided full service design to homeowners, contractors, and worked alongside other award-winning designers all over the lower mainland. While her current niche is renovations, Nancy excels in solving spatial problems; recently satisfying multiple stakeholders in a development with her Interior Design plan. She was able to bridge the gap between development company, architect, realtor and marketing company goals by solving their space planning issues. She’s excited to continue working more with architects and developers on new builds, spec homes, smaller multi-unit condos and townhome developments.  Nancy is also the recipient of the NKBA BC Chapter Awards 2016 for Best Powder Room and Best Large Kitchen.The NKBA is the world’s leading trade association for kitchen and bath professionals.

Nancy keeps tabs on the fashion and food industries as influences in her design, and she loves cooking and entertaining in her spare time. As a part-time hockey mom, Nancy enjoys watching her two teenage boys play competitively. You can also find her stealing moments to read and walk her dog.

“I love planning. There’s something exciting about taking an old space and redesigning it into something fresh and lovable again. Whether it be a kitchen, bathroom or an entire home renovation! Even when I was young, I used to move the furniture in my bedroom and my parents’ living room around until I found the best flow and feeling for the space. It’s my superpower: I can see a space the way it’s meant to be, not the way it is.”
